VTS from a global approach

Global VTS developments, including e-navigation as well as innovations and improvements in VTS operations will be central themes at the VTS Symposium in 2008.

A focus on the role of VTS in the Arctic will also be highlighted, taking into account future challenges for VTS operations in the High North. Recruitment, professional competency and on-going legal issues will also be symposium features.
