On the fourth day of the symposium, Thursday August 7th, delegates are invited to a tour of Fedje VTS.
IALA has developed a preliminary technical programme with contemporary themes and a wide spectre of presenters. The technical programme has been included in the final programme for the symposium below.

In addition to speakers from IALA's various member organisations, a number of external speakers have confirmed their participation at the VTS Symposium in Norway.
So far nearly 160 delegates from 22 countries have registered for the 11th International VTS Symposium, where VTS from a global approach will be the main theme.
The Norwegian Minister of Fisheries and Coastal Affairs, Ms Helga Pedersen, has confirmed that she will attend the opening of the VTS Symposium in Bergen.
Although 32 exhibition booths have been reserved for the 2008 Industrial Members Exhibition in Bergen, it is still possible for potential exhibitors to register.
